Powered by Starlight Children’s Foundation, Livewire Online is a free online community for young people (and their siblings) aged 12-20 living with disability, serious illness or a chronic health condition. The Livewire chat hosts listen, support discussions, and provide support without judgement. Every application is authorised with parental consent and proof of identity.
When you’re a teenager with a serious illness, not many people really get what you’re going through – and it can be hard for siblings too. Visit Livewire anytime to swap stories, ask for ideas, and talk about whatever’s going on in your life, from operations to issues with friends and family. We have everything from a moderated chatroom (operating and staffed from midday to midnight, 7 days a week) through to competitions, an active newsfeed, live streaming, special events and regular visits from celebrity guests.
